When this show comes back for a second season, I really hope the AV Club covers it. I find it difficult to want to follow a show if this website doesn't review it. There is something magical to watching a show and coming to this place to see the different (sometimes dissenting) opinions.

I am usually the person on the other side of this dynamic, decrying the nature of adaptions of materials I adore. Sometimes the best way to come at these conundrums is watching the supposedly lesser adaption first, and then discover the higher quality source. That way you don't project on the adaption.

For me, the armor was a highlight of the season. It had some cool features and gave the show a sense of excitement that you can't get from Dirk or Todd, since they are almost inherently nonviolent, in the way that they simply have no skills in that arena.
