King Domino has been great for us (6-7y), its fast to setup, fast to play, simple, and involves math. Despite the type of thinking that is involved, the winner spreads around, without using “CPU Assistance” like Mario Kart or Mario Party.

Speedrunners almost never use emulators and ROMs. This run was done on an original NES, according to the speedrun.com description. It looks like was modified with RGB output (for better video quality) and a tap on the controller to record and display inputs. But the actual game-playing hardware is identical.
