I am 100% with you in this sentiment. Metroidvania games, especially, are an absolute joy to fully complete for me, especially if they are wonderfully designed and it’s easy to connect to the world, lore, and characters.

Why is that a bad thing? Castlevania had done it that way numerous times. Like Hollow Knight, key items are meant to be purchased, while story-progression items are only earned through boss fights or unlocking important areas.

Is it only PS4? Because... mmmm... a Switch release would be delicious!

Fuck you and your stupid attempts to lure people in to bullshit. I wouldn’t click that link even if it was access to the meaning of life. FUCK YOU.

I thought the hoppy flea things were easy peasy. They have a very specific rhythm that you just need to swing to, and it’s a single kill every time.

Sure, but I’ve seen Zangief in that bath house a lot too. It’s not exclusive to just Edmund Honda.

I’m a little annoyed by the “trans roles should be played by trans actors” line. I understand the sentiment, but that’s not how Hollywood works. It’s not how it has ever worked.

Not really. When it comes to molestation, sexual assault, and rape, it’s mostly a problem with power. The men that usually do it think they have more power than they actually have, and they abuse it.

For Pokemon, I’m just imagining they are seeing if the interest is still there or not. Or they are pulling the Eric Cartman where they only let a few people see it at a time to build interest, only to have the entire country want to see it because of exclusivity. haha

Why are there so many professional athletes who’ve turned out to be complete pieces of shit?

It’s just a promotional technique. For certain foreign films, Japanese studios don’t know how well they will be received by a Japanese audience, so what they’ll do is release them very selectively to gain more traction. If the theaters sell out consistently, they see that as successful and will possibly release the

Oh, man. A Metroid one would blow my mind, as I don’t think there has ever been a Metroid-themed special edition console. It’s my favorite series, and I would easily buy another Switch just to have that version.

I did, and yeah, it’s too bad it isn’t for sale. So sad.  :(

Not true. Special editions are just that; special. Nintendo produced special edition Switch packages for the release of Splatoon 2, and they did the same thing for Super Mario Odyssey. Here in Japan, there’s also an actual Monster Hunter XX-edition console where the Switch itself is special, not just the JoyCons like

Yes to all of that! I can’t tell you the amount of money I spent on GBAs, DSs, and 3DSs. I will do the same thing with the Switch! Nintendo. C’mon. TAKE MY MONEY! haha

I’m well aware. I live in Japan, and I was tempted to get it. But my heart is set on getting a Zelda one eventually, so I decided not to.

Yeah. That’s a strong argument. But keep in mind, the original 3DS did come in multiple colors initially, and then had numerous special editions within the first year.

Believe me, I am WELL aware of this beauty! Why not just sell it?! It’s amazing! haha

I have the Wind Waker gamepad, and it is GLORIOUS. It’s the sole reason I haven’t sold my Wii U.

Well, considering the 2DS is rather new still, it’s already gotten quite a few special consoles. The 3DS, however, got all kinds of special editions. The original 3DS did, the 3DS XL did, the New 3DS has tons of custom plates you could buy and use, and the New 3DS XL had some of the best special editions to date.
