Oh, don’t get me wrong. Both DOOM and Wolfenstein were both dormant for a period, but the fact that they are still relevant in 2018-19 is amazing. It’s like the ultimate resurrection in video games.

I can give Sonic credit, but the amount of bad games has still left a bad taste in my mouth. The fact that fanmade Sonic games are better than more of the stuff SEGA is pumping out is pretty sad. And again, Sonic’s relevance in today’s gaming industry is more nostalgia than anything.

You clearly didn’t read my post. I specifically said “longevity and relevance”. Number of games means nothing, especially when a lot of those games were bad. Mega Man just about died a few years ago, hence Inafune-san’s departure with Capcom. Sonic has genuinely been through hell and back, producing some of the worst

When I saw these two announcements today from DOOM Eternal and Wolfenstein: Youngblood, it finally just dawned on me that it is 2018 and these are both big game announcements. I remembered 30+ years ago playing Castle Wolfenstein, and I remember given Wolfenstein 3D and DOOM to all of my friends in school. haha. Here

Can we give DOOM and Wolfenstein, as a franchises, credit where it is deserved? How many gaming franchises out there have such longevity AND relevance? Of course, most Nintendo franchises like Super Mario, Zelda, Kirby, and Donkey Kong and still going and pumping out great games.

Dude. Ubi brought us Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle last year. That was NOT “worse” material. That was up there for one of the best games displayed, and one of the weirdest mash-ups in modern gaming history.

Hahaha. I don’t think edgy is the right word, but incredibly immature. Once I found out they had a language filter, I tried to push the limit as best I could. Taint was the first one that went through, so I just kept that the galaxy name while making the planets all kinds of stupid names.

Ooooh. They are NOT going to like a lot of the planets and systems I named. haha. I did about 100, and they are literally “5-Star Taint I-C” (I-C, being Roman Numeral 1-100. haha).

Each individual planet is also a terrible profanity with the first letters switched around (e.g. Bock Cag, Pizz Jirate, Futt Buck, etc).

When I was in 7th grade, I was being picked on during health class over and over and over again by the kid behind me (I still remember his name, XAVIER!). At one point, he kicked my chair, which caused some change to fall out of my pocket, my lunch money. He quickly grabbed most of it, and by this time, I got mad. I

Wow, Brian! This was a stellar write up. I honestly can’t believe that I’ve never even heard of this film, considering 1) how many movies I’ve seen in my life, 2) I have lived in Japan for over a decade now, and 3) it has such high-profile names attached to it.

I’m a Penguins fan, and frankly, I’ve been cheering for Vegas all season. Look, I know the Penguins have won 2 championships in a row and people are getting tired of seeing them in the spotlight, but I’m a fan. Of course I would have liked to see them win a 3rd one in a row.

Please.

I agree. It’s heart-wrenching and as raw an anime can be in regards to such a horrible and depressing topic. Grave of the Fireflies really is a brilliant film, but it is not one of those you watch because you want to. You watch it because you need to.

My son just started first grade here in Tokyo, and yup. Pretty much this whole thing. haha. I was learning so many random things about Japanese school culture, and I was blown away by the “ransel” and their prices. I actually saw a Mister Donuts themed one at Ito Yokado for roughly ¥90,000. Some of those you poster,

Yeah. Such is the community of gamers. Sadly, as a collective, we are probably the worst fans on the planet. There are too many gamers that can sour the concept of playing games and having fun. Terms like “the worst”, “ripped off”, “scammed”, “robbed”, etc are used so often in the gaming community that they have

I think Suzuki Gun as a stable is still pretty hated. Here’s an inside bit of info; Before Sakura Genesis started, Minoru Suzuki, ZSJ, and Taichi were all out in the lobby personally selling Suzuki Gun merchandise (The only actual performers doing this), and they were still the least visited merch booth.

I haven’t watched the show back yet (I really want to watch it again, but I was LOUD and a couple times made the crowd laugh. e.g. During the Cody match, I yelled out, “BULLET CLUB IS NOT FINE, CODY!” to a great crowd reaction.), but during the Lance Archer bit, did they show him screaming at that kid in the front

You may need to reread my initial comment. “Sad little fanboy” I am not. I just commended Murray for really trying hard to make No Man’s Sky into a good game, because yes, he really disappointed a ton of people when it first came out.

Haha. It’s funny that you hate ZSJ with a passion. I love him, because he wrestles similar to how I used to in amateur wrestling. Lots of crazy holds and tilts, great use of legs, and a keen understanding of how to make certain submissions look very painful. No one, in my opinion, is as good a technician as ZSJ in pro

It was actually a great match! Everyone knew Okada was going to win, but there were points where the crowd forgot that and started to believe that Zack could possibly win. I was there, and halfway through, the crowd was really starting to cheer for ZSJ, which kind of shocked me. My friend that I brought (It was his
