What are you talking about? Your initial comment was wrongfully condescending and filled with lies. I corrected you, and now you accuse me of getting better rewards for living in Japan and corporate loyalty? What in the world are you trying to communicate?

Amiibo have been selling really well worldwide, they have turned a nice profit for Nintendo, and it seems like people really enjoy collecting them. It’s not like Nintendo has to give away free games to sell them. I live in Hachioji, Tokyo, and every electronic story/game store in my area is constantly selling out of

I cleared this last night, and I have to say, Nintendo is killing it with these little downloadable puzzle games. Box Boy and Pushmo/Crashmo are all brilliant and tons of fun. Box Boy One More Box is seriously a gem, and I can’t recommend it enough. Charming, fun, original, and challenging.

Completely agree, but based on what I played at TGS this past year, both the Oculus and Sony PS VR were very, very similar in performance and features. We’ll find out details soon enough, I suppose.

It’s really gonna depend on Sony’s PS VR price point. Now that Oculus has announced theirs, I think Sony will do a similar approach that they did against the Xbox One a couple years ago and price their VR cheaper and begin to ridicule Oculus.

It could just be that Sony was waiting for Oculus to strike first on the price announcement, like they did with Microsoft a couple years ago with the Xbox One. Now Sony can go on the attack, announce a cheaper price, and cause Oculus to go into a panic.

Well, considering when new technology emerges, it’s almost always insanely priced because there’s no price point to match. Oculus had nothing really to compare to, so they put our a price they thought might work, yet it’s obviously not that exciting of a price for gamers. It seems like many people were expecting

It was pretty solid at Tokyo Game Show this past year, so I could still see Sony’s PS VR releasing before or around e3.

Yeah. I was thinking Sony’s PS VR will be roughly the same price as a PS4. If they somehow make it cheaper, that would be very positive for them, I think.

What if Nintendo’s next hardware is just VR? And not the Virtual Boy 2, but the NEW Virtual Boy! Oh, man. That would be golden.

Will you really?! Thank you. :)

You couldn’t be more on point, my friend. I’m curious to see how Sony is going to price that PS VR now. With all of this backlash already, I’d imagine they’ll price theirs between $300-$400.

I agree. And Sony should be announcing their VR details in the next couple months, so then we’ll get a better picture of how much the two big companies are going for.

What all works with the GEAR VR? I wasn’t even aware of it or its cheap price.

Agreed. $600 just seems a bit too ambitious, and it definitely seems like they are trying to ride high on the name, since Oculus is obviously the most recognizable name in VR at the moment.

I had the pleasure to use Oculus at two different booths at Tokyo Game Show this past year, and honestly, it was a ton of fun. Great product and works well, but at $600... well... like I said, I can wait.

Wow. I just lost interest in an instant. And honestly, we’re still pretty early in the stage of VR, so it can only go up from here AND be cheaper.

Wow! How is this happening? I thought a Boy and His Blob was a Nintendo property. Guess I was wrong.

I read the mass majority of Kotaku articles, because I enjoy reading about games during my train commute to and from work. Some times the posts are great, some times they are passable, and some times, like this, they are just... dumb.

I’m right there with you. I thought Steve and Marcy were pretty funny together, but Jefferson really allowed Marcy to be on a whole different level of funny. It’s not that Jefferson was better or funnier than Steve, but Jefferson definitely made a better Marcy than Steve did. And Marcy Darcy. I mean, c’mon.
