Yes! That too. Another reason the system is silly. Glitching to 100% games basically just lied about your accomplishments and gives you ZERO bragging rights (As if there was something to brag about anyway). I remember Gears of War being the biggest one, and people would glitch the entire list of multiplayer

Hahaha. That's very hopeful of you that Kotaku will still allow you to access this comment 10 years from now. But just like WoW, you never know. Maybe it'll all surprise me. ;)

It is technically rebuilt, though. It's all new coding with a new engine. They are basically just modeling it after the original. Remastered is a funny term to use for gaming, because it is meant for music/recordings. A remaster is basically a new master of a recording to typically improve the sound quality. In

True, but I was initially referring to actual development on the 3DS. Since both Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask are completely rebuilt, they are remakes and not simple ports.

Are we counting Virtual Console titles? ;)

"metroid as a franchise has sold worse than those Mario vs Sonic sports games"

I agree. It has to be something like this, because Zelda is a safe bet. It'll more-than-likely get a million sales, and that'll definitely be a nice profit for them, especially since this is a remake and not an entirely new and created product (Meaning no new writers, storyboarders, etc needed).

I hate to not be excited about this, but I'm just not excited. We've already had two Zelda remakes in the past 3 years and only one original Zelda. I know a new Wii U one is in the works, but with Majora's Mask 3D, 2/3 of Zelda titles on the 3DS are just N64 remakes.

I actually don't mind trophies on Playstation, because they make ZERO sense and don't try to sell themselves as being valuable at all. You unlock them casually, and they barely do anything to your PSN profile ranking. I have a 13 next to my name on PSN, but what does that mean? haha. Oh Xbox LIVE, you just see these

I know, and again, so sad. Every time, I just expect a tease. That's all I want. I just need some kind of tease to know that Nintendo remembers its Metroid fans. That 2D Metroid on the 3DS... I just want it so badly!

*sigh* Disappointed once again. :(

Please be Metroid. Please be Metroid. Please be Metroid. Please be Metroid. Please be Metroid. Please be Metroid. Please be Metroid. Please be Metroid. Please be Metroid. Please be Metroid. Please be Metroid. Please be Metroid. Please be Metroid. Please be Metroid. Please be Metroid. Please be Metroid. Please be

The daughter actually has Naruto's eyes, so that's different. ;)

Yes. We'll continue reading this fantastic shit while you keep reading your mediocre minor comics.

Well, technically, how much they ship is how much they sold. It's not their responsibility to sell it at retail but to sell it to the retailer. Despite that, Activision most definitely would know the sell-through numbers as well, especially if certain retailers are demanding more copies.

So you're telling me that if I looked on your Xbox LIVE profile, I wouldn't find games like Avatar The Last Airbender, TMNT, Hannah Montana The Movie The Game, or any other super-simple 100% achievement games? If you haven't, then awesome. If you have, well, you're not proving me anything.

People are apparently not reading my post or just assuming I don't enjoy games. I never said any of that. I said achievements are just getting stupider and stupider. There is no rhyme or reason to them. They've become a mess of a number with literally no meaning. "Highest gamerscore" basically means "Most games

I agree with that mentality, in theory, but my argument is the randomness of achievement points. It doesn't make sense anymore. It's a mess. One game with a 30 hour campaign has 1000 gamerscore, and the next has 4 games with a grand total of about 20 hours of campaign for a grand total of 4500 gamerscore. Some games

It's still the same game. Who cares if some achievements are different?

Two things: 1) You spent tons of money to get 120K+ gamerscore, and for that, Microsoft is giving you a tiny fraction for your achievement efforts. Doesn't seems like a reward to me. Club Nintendo does a much, much better job of rewarding people for their purchases. And 2) Leaderboards are great when they make sense.
