This is definitely going on my lists of things to try over the weekend

@ku1185: Have you tried Chromium?

Most of the time, it seems that th Flash version is still faster and smoother than the HTML5 version, despite claims to the contrary.

@MyTQuinn: To each their own, I suppose. Why would you want to, though?

@TheOtherHalf: I've been using that for a while now. It's so much faster than any other reader I've used that it's my default reader for local pdfs, too.

Gates seems like a cool guy, he came and spoke at the BSA National Jamboree.

All I have is the one desktop. In the past, when I was younger, I just did without for a week.

@hawkeye18 hath verily: Yes, but any UPS that could keep a TV for a couple hours also costs thousand(s) of dollars by itself.

It makes me wonder if the teacher did this intentionally to highlight the absurdity of similar restrictions and of how anything, taken to its extreme, is ludicrous.

@Gerardo Zamudio: Same here. My elementary school used floppies for K-5th grade (the older kids got their own Windows account).

This seems really cool, I have to ask, though:

I am 100% for 911 SMS.

I feel so sneaky, being in here and all.

@Intelli: Mind linking the software you used to control the cursor with a hand through the webcam?

@terabitten: Coincidentally, I encrypted my system with Truecrypt yesterday. I haven't noticed any performance loss, though I'm sure there it is a small tax on resources.

@AreWeThereYeti: Thanks! Bookmarked for my next tech buying spree.

@AreWeThereYeti: What's the model of that? It looks much more aesthetically pleasing than other readers I've seen.
