they do take that tone when discussing all sorts of things like human rights issues

I used to read it but I was always irritated by the flippant tone it took towards some of the bites. I know we are all about be apathetic and cool - i am a millenial woman after allll, but it’s downright offensive to refer to serious human rights issues as though they are celeb gossip.
