It’s funny - i should have realized this when I had skins from when Fortnite launched - as in the co-op against the world part. I can confirm I’ve heard my niece and her friends use the term “Default” as an insult, and they explained it was insulting someone who uses default skins in F2P games.

My daughter was telling me about how people pick on you in Roblox for not having paid for avatar pieces and what not. I’ve played it with her using a very default looking appearance and it does appear there is some disdain for people who don’t buy into it.
