I’m not sure your first statement is true, as communist and socialist states have a much smaller influence on the planet as whole compared to the gargantuan series of interconnected nations and corporations that exist with the capitalist system.

Capitalism has definitely done a lot for us. It’s also killing the planet unfortunately. It might be time to adapt and evolve.
