One of the best movies of all times, hands down. For me, ending is not ambigous, and if we follow the logic from this text, nothing is solved. Russel has light in his eyes at the beginning of the scene, but later on, both are in the dark. So it solves nothing. And there is nothing to solve, for me at least.

Bestest show there is. I would be happy to watch it as long as I am here. There is no reason not to. IMHO, it deserves to be on par with Simpsons or South Park, shows that are always there.

Definately one of the most beloved films. Not only Carpenter’s but in horror generally. Dark masterpiece.
