Angel: “Smile Time”, “A Hole in the World”, “Shells”. That’s quite a lineup as well.

That, and this show’s characterization is nowhere near Buffy’s level (not a huge insult by the way-the vast majority of shows are nowhere near Buffy’s level).

Yeah, they might be leaning a bit too much into pop-culture spoofs. I am a fan of musicals, but neither this show’s musical or The Flash’s were very good, compared to Buffy’s or The Magicians’. Might be an unfair comparison (those shows are way better anyway), but the show kind of brings it on itself when it does this…

Nothing after Season 2 is close to the first two seasons. That being said, it’s not all bad.

Also, I haven’t had a chance to see steins;gate 0 yet. Let me know if it’s worth watching.

Well you’re not alone. I’ve seen this take on the show quite a bit. Though, I strongly disagree with it on every level.

Absolutely agree. Not to mention the extrapolation from “everyone is relevant to someone” to the conclusion the Machine ultimately comes to.....brilliant.

They had 6 episodes to write an ending for the show out of the blue, and they managed to make it one of the strongest stretches of television ever produced by Mutant Enemy.

Tears man. Every single time. It’s also a great call back to “Lie to Me”. 

A slightly re-written end to Ozymandias would still have been a more fitting end to the show.

Probably agree. The only 4 that come close for me are The Shield’s, Avatar: The Last Airbender’s, Person of Interest’s, and Justified’s.

She was writing them down-just an Amy quirk. Nothing really came of it, but it was funny as hell.

Also, taking B99 off the schedule at any time is just bad.

That’s your perogative. If I don’t know whether the reviewer even liked what they’re talking about,that’s a huge problem for me.

It sure was. The re-design was not as bad as Kinjapocalypse.
