Apparently not. They should, but they wont.

Never change Andre.

This episode has peak Holt and it was awesome.

I do as well, with Series 8 at least. Plenty of it doesnt work. But it has the kind of flaws that Im more willing to forgive in that they stem from being too ambitious. Even in its failures, the creative team was still trying. I view that as less problematic than the flaws in my least favorite series (7 and 11) where

The goodbye scene between Capaldi and Coleman in Death in Heaven is great.

I enjoyed it quite a bit. Not a great story, but a pretty damn entertaining one. Chibnall works better with classic villains. Some of the jokes fell *really* flat though. Especially the bit with the family addicted to technology. Just....no. Overall, one of the better Series 11 episodes if it were to be counted as such

First of all, it’s nice to have you back writing about Doctor Who Alasdair. I’ve been a fan of yours since the days of your Regular Show reviews, and was sad to see you leave the site. Good to have your writing back (I know you’ve been writing about Bob’s Burgers here for awhile now, but still). That being said, I’m

Agree to disagree: Fear Her, Love and Monsters, Aliens of London/World War Three, The Runaway Bride, Voyage of the Damned”, The Doctors Daughter, The Sound of Drums/The Last of the Time Lords, etc. I could go on.

I was with you until you mentioned “Flatline” and “Oxygen”. Those two episodes are genuinely terrific.

Okay, I almost threw up reading the first sentence. Please, should anyone read this, dont. This was the dumbest thing Ive ever written on the internet. Blech.

Yes, this was a very dumb thing to write. I realize this now.

And I think “Triggerman” and “Reasonable Doubt” are the worst episodes of the series, and they’re still somewhat watchable....just really bland and dull. Like dry white rice with no salt.

Ha! True. Wouldn’t wish “Move Along Home” on anyone. DS9 has a really good stretch of episodes at the end of its second season, and it’s all uphill from there. Season 3 is good, and Seasons 4-7 are great. They’d probably have to use a skip guide to get to Season 4.

I’d say Root and Reese’s deaths, aside from raising the stakes and making Team Machine’s victory over Samaritan feel earned, provided satisfying endings for their characters. Finch told Reese in the pilot that one of them would end up dead. It would feel rather cheap if they didn’t follow through on that. Reese

I just love watching him beat the living daylights out of anyone in his path. The man needs to play Batman as soon as possible.

Just out of curiosity, which comment inspired you to binge it? You should be *very* grateful to that commenter.

People liked to complain about Caviezel’s acting. I always liked him though. Man I miss POI. One of my favorite things that I’ve ever watched.

Yeah. “Hall of Egress” is one of my favorite tv episodes of all time. The SU writers were quite savvy to bring him on board.

Your taste in Doctor Who companions is pretty astute.

I’m sorry, what?
