It is a good thing. Forcing characters to confront their histories is a good thing. And no, it isn’t the direction of most comedies.

The BoJack writers really can cut to the bone with their satire, can’t they? The quote you mentioned at the top was so accurate, and biting.

Best episode since “Mac and Dennis Move to the Suburbs”.

I agree on the quality of the episode-it’s how these mid-season BCS episodes usually are. The Jimmy and Kim stuff was fantastic though. It’s the other part of the show that let it down. I’m not really impressed by the Mike material anymore.

Well, I’m 7 seasons behind. At least I have something to look forward to!

He certainly would. Now I really want to see that....

The issue with The Last Jedi was that it wasnt different *enough*. It had plenty of great ideas, but was reluctant to fully commit to them. I would have loved it if it had completely and utterly turned Star Wars on its head. But Ill still take it over the workmanlike Episode 7, and, if were being honest, Episode 9.

And half a last season.

Such a great movie. I can’t believe it was written by the same guy who wrote The Newsroom and Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip......

Far more Breaking Bad fans saw Walter as the hero than Rick and Morty fans see Rick as the hero, but that show doesn’t get blamed. Thank you for realizing that it doesn’t endorse him. And I think you’re right about the Rick and Morty fanbase-it’s one of the worst I’ve ever seen-the only one that comes close is Star

Yes they are.

And the pacing, even on Luke Cage Season 2, is just awful.

Yeah, it’s better than any of the Netflix shows in my opinion.

I’m okay with slow. But the pacing this season felt like a Marvel-Netflix show. That’s not a compliment.

Seriously, WHAT A FINALE this was.

It *was* the best episode of the season. The payoff was great, the wonky character motivations were somewhat rectified and the final twist was mind-blowing and heartbreaking. And that’s where I see the problem with your comparison to the Season 4 finale. It cleared the decks, but it wasn’t quite as awesome as this

Also great to have Donna’s amazing reviews back.

I’m not passing judgement on Abby, but if Abby deserves to be forgiven, then so does Octavia. Kane’s hypocrisy is what bothers me.

I know the 100 writers love violence and death....but they could still have that when they re-build society!

Monty almost escaped.....until Octavia dragged him back in.
