The question is, does Earth-19 have Star Trek: Deep Space Nine?

The only full time companion in the modern series before Bill that I felt could hold a candle to the best classic companions was Donna (Captain Jack and Wilf were so amazing). But Bill definitely can! Good on Pearl Mackie.

Next up on Bill''s hit list to top: Ace and Sarah Jane Smith.

Is Bill the best companion ever? She damn well could be if this keeps up, or at least one of the best. And to think, everyone was saying she was JUST another young female from 21st century London. Pearl Mackie's absolutely delightful in almost every scene.

Nope. I haven't watched enough of the classic episodes. They're too rough around the edges for me personally.

Arrow isn't a show about deconstructing themes. Its depth comes from character arcs. At least, this season gave Oliver an arc, even if Seasons 3 and 4 were so inane with characterization that there's no real series arc. Arrow's strengths come from awesome action, skillful plotting, and engaging character beats. This

It was still poorly written garbage.

Smith-like is probably the wrong phrase. Lighthearted is more like it. I did not care for the Doctor's 'rocker persona', with his guitar at the beginning of "The Magician's Apprentice", the sonic shades, and his antics before Ashildr's death "The Girl Who Died". It seemed like because many people were off-put by his

I actually preferred the 12th Doctor's characterization in Series 8 as a whole, because it was more consistent than Series 9. As a whole season it made more sense to me, as a relapse of sorts from the Eleventh Doctor, even if they did go too far in places. In Series 9 he had some truly great moments, but he also had

That was truly a fantastic episode. I loved Bill's reaction to the Doctor saving the sonic instead of the kid-that is so 12th Doctor-ish.

True, but the episode didn't bring that up. Digging deep into moral dilemmas has never been one of Arrow's strong points, but "Dangerous Liaisons" was particularly shallow in this regard. I just don't get why they would take time off from Chase, who everyone agrees is pretty damn awesome, to do a decent, but pointless

Also, Alasdair pointed this out, but it's insane that Oliver and Diggle think they have any right to point fingers. Both of them have done way shadier stuff.

The Rene stuff was good. The Lyla/Diggle and Oliver/Felicity arguments was a bunch of empty moralizing. Not interesting at all. Let's get back to Prometheus please.

I don't know if you watch Brooklyn 99, but that show's episode tonight was everything the Flash should strive to be: really fun, but also really heartfelt and emotional in parts. For some reason the Flash writers confuse "heartfelt and emotional" with dour storytelling.

I liked the crossover, the midseason finale, the first half of the Grodd two-parter, and the musical crossover. The rest has been either sickeningly sweet or "dour, angst-ridden, soap-opera", as Scott elegantly put it. Season 1 and Season 2 up until "Escape From Earth-2" seems like a distant memory.

IKR

That…….was a good episode of The Flash Season 3? What madness is this?

SO MANY GOOD QUOTES!

NEVER end on a double pump.
