To be fair Ray is a super genius he’s been shown to be at Felicities level and he’s basically the DCCW’s Iron Man. So he does have a claim to being one of the smartest people on the planet. Sure he’s goofy but still smart.

Very good point... When they said last night that they needed something to shoot down the satellites that didn’t have tech, I immediately thought... “Hey, why not use the bow and arrow? Call in Ollie”... but instead of using a reliable hero..... you turn to a villain? I mean I get it was needed for Snow to get all “in…
Because Killer Frost isn’t evil anymore. She’s just Caitlin’s emo wild girl personality now.
Why does Caitlyn want to be Killer Frost so bad? Surely being evil goes against Caitlyn’s persona and Team Flash. How they co-sign that doesn’t make sense.
Funny that in the episodes since Infinity War came out, we’ve had both a “resetting humanity to save our resources” speech and a hero whose meta half is mentally locked away.
We learnt that Caitlyn has basically the same issue with Killer Frost as Banner has with Hulk. It’s psychological block. I’m sure they’ll both be back for final fight.
Two things...
Genevieve, perhaps you might want to reevaluate your decision. This site gets bare over the summer and its usually stuck marathon reviewing overstuffed Netflix shows...
Man the second I saw Grant Ward I was like...damn it, guess we know who did it. I watch a lot of random TV but with dedication so the guest star never really spoils it for me because I’m not aware of TV character actors as much as the AV Club reviewers tend to be, but that one gave it away (Hail, Hydra!)
It’s real shame AV Club are cutting back on so many shows. Really loved these reviews.
“Maybe he’s a freelance gravedigger who offers bargain prices on hard work for people who want rustic, artisanal interments.” We’re not going to get your witty quips as well as thoughtful insight every week? Your reviews have been the perfect Elementary chaser on the day after.
Welcome back! I am so sad that there are going to be no more regular reviews. I missed the show, recaps, and the comments here.
No more “Elementary” reviews, but we get some goddamn article from The Takeout about Hot Dog University right below this.
I’ll miss them too. Why no regular reviews, Genevieve?
No regular reviews? Damn I’ll miss them. I always appreciated that no matter how shallow an individual episode was, the AV Club would give it a thoughtful, incisive write up, which meant that it was up to the task when Elementary pulled out a great episode,.
Can I just say that Lucy Liu totally ROCKS* as Watson?
Ok I was drifting a bit after last season but they pulled me back in.
“We have a small, but devoted, following.” LOL!
Anyone else notice Deke’s Sam Beckett homage with his “Oh Boy!” quote on the time jump arrival realization?
The “We have a small but active fanbase.” seemed to be a nod to viewers.
