E65 B7 owner here, and yes this is the correct take. I wouldn’t touch an early N63 powered anything, let alone a B7. For more info, google ‘N63 Customer Care Package’. Also, who debadges an Alpina? You buy an Alpina and you don’t. touch. anything. Major red flag. No dice on this one.

This is an astoundingly bad take. Hatchbacks came first. Sedans are terribly impractical compared to hatchbacks. It’s nice for you that you don’t need a hatch, since you don’t like them. but there’s no logic in your argument.

I would not be shocked at all if a bunch of R states try to ban chargers, totally forgetting that the people who can afford new BEVs are also most like the same people who can afford to just fly over their state.

The stock shifter in good condition is only ok. The PO on mine was was a SpaceX engineer and did some dark 3D printed wizardry in there and my shifter feels fantastic, that and the new cables make a huge difference too. Once it get sloppy I’ll either go with a Numeric shifter and cables or something similar.
