They’re universally garbage. I’ve had / worked with two small honda motors - pull and start, worst case was two pulls, every time. I’ve had 5 Briggs and Shitty engines - none of them were usable at the beginning of the year, no matter what you did to prep them the fall prior. Horrible engines, and I seriously pray…

Yeah, but those idiots only put it in longitudinal applications, which means jeep as a whole got screwed outside of the Grand Cherokee and Wagoneer lines.  

This.  I never thought a transmission would be a reason to buy/not buy a car, but having driven the Chrysler 9 speed after my ZF8 - I actually suddenly care.  And no, I didn’t have any particular faith in the GM/Ford 10 speed any more than I did the Mopar 9  

You’ll want to finish again post-DLC (it changes the ending).  But yeah - it’s all about “don’t do ANYTHING” till you’re past.  That’s the scare.

You know, if they put a stick in this (I know, I know...) or at least a traditional auto, I’d give it a serious look.  But I absolutely HATE CVTs - even good ones.  

It doesn’t support Android Auto either - it’s based on Android Automotive, which is something else entirely.
