You know, if they put a stick in this (I know, I know...) or at least a traditional auto, I’d give it a serious look. But I absolutely HATE CVTs - even good ones.

It doesn’t support Android Auto either - it’s based on Android Automotive, which is something else entirely.
For 2024. Read the source - it’s going away after that and in future versions.
You actually nailed my issue with it - there’s too much. I didn’t HAVE to watch Agents of Shield to know what was going on with the movies - now I’m supposed to watch WandaVision, Loki, She-greenthing, Falcon and the whatever dude, all the movies, and more. I don’t even know what Hawkeye is in this context - is there…
Every single combination of hardware and driver versions requires the shaders be compiled to match - on a console this is easy, as there are one, maybe two total hardware combinations that you’d have. On PC, there’s almost infinite. So they have to compile - you can either do this ahead of time (loading…
“Drive a lot for work” and “35 mile commute each way” does not compute... it feels like something is missing there.
They all have annual services that go through a lot of it.
I mean, it’s a V10 based on the standard truck V8 of the era (or at least designed from). It’s not hard to work on, overall, and there’s lots of space around it. It’ll be a tedious and annoying task, but not a difficult one - and the engines are generally rather reliable. Getting it home without driving it would be…
There’s no such thing as an affordable new car that is worth driving.
You said, and I quote, “the following no longer have manual options.” I ignore anything have to do with base model anythings, so yeah, I skipped that part >_<
The Golf (GTI), Civic (SI, R, and sport IIRC), 911, WRX (Impreza), Corolla (and GR version), ILX (Integra now) all still have manuals - and the hyundai/kia smaller models. It’s not as bad as it sounds. Ford doesn’t even sell cars, so that doesn’t count :p
Yep, only (apparently) 10x worse - like constantly making that sound (and louder) in the background. MUCH louder.
Interference - it generates pulses similar to what AM is trying to pick up and causes odd distortions and noise.
Midwest blizzards, Colorado blizzards, and mountain blizzards (or even major storms) are distinctly different things. I’ve had days in the mountains here where it’s 60 degrees out and sunny as could be, and within two hours has dropped to 20 and there’s already 6-12" of snow on the ground. Weather changes absurdly…
I come from the era where Driving classes had manual as an option. Even then they did your first day driving in an automatic to make sure you had go/stop/turn figured out before adding the next layer. If you picked manual though every other drive was in a stick shift.
I’ve driven so many cars; Mclarens on the track, F-bodies built for racing, old base-model Saturns, and everything in-between.
I bought two Harleys - both because the dealers are VERY good (as long as you’re looking at their bikes and not the Buell - although they REALLY tried on those) at making you feel like you’re special and guaranteeing a good experience.
Depends on your seasons. Summer here can be very very short. Freezing temps (Don’t think snow, think temps cold enough that summer tires are a very bad idea) hit early and stay very late. AWD gives you a few more options there. But sun? We’ve got that - and mid-day is nice enough for a ‘vert.
This. Plus depending on where you live in Colorado, summer driving can only be guaranteed in places from mid-June to beginning of September. Not that there won’t be nice days after or before - hell, even in January we’ll get ones in the 60s... but the mornings will be below freezing, and night will be too. AWD for…
If you think Doug is that heavily involved in each auction, I’ve got news for you.
