Counterpoint: The 3.5L V6 is an ancient brick that is outclassed by everything else in the market. They’re still on a 6-speed for the AWD portion, it doesn’t get the LSDw with AWD (matters for a large part of the market), and it’s just meh. This was nice when it came out in 2012ish. It was ok in 2016.  Now it’s just

You think people who buy/lease them new care?

Agreed except Cadillac; no one actually cares what they do anymore.

I’ve got fingers slightly crossed for an emissions compliant TT kit for them; either of them.  I live too high for N/A motors.

Not really? I was seriously interested at first, watched the reveal, watched the commentary, browsed the configurator, counted the sheckles for a 2LT with Z51... And got bored. It’s another N/A pushrod V8 with an automatic, this one just has clutches. No tracks on any drive I like to do, and I’d rather have a

I average close to 30k a year, about 22k of that on one of the three cars.

Somehow after 10 years I’ve missed that one.  Not sure how, but cool.  Cool cool cool cool cool.

Doesn’t actually do anything for me :(

Are you joking?  Did I miss the sarcasm tag?

Worse engine and RWD only.  I know that’s why I didn’t even look at it - with the auto, it’s now on equal terms with BMW/Audi/MB, and I went with the BMW.

WRX is all that’s left; BMW stopped, Audi stopped...  that leaves...?  Cadillac?

I just want turbos.  Altitude is a merciless evil that saps everything else of all joy.

I’m still waiting to see what they do with the Z06 / ZR1 / Zora. Good to hear though.

Eh, yuppie, late-30s, no kids, and have acura or BMW money. I’m intrigued, but I’m also pretty smitten with my BMWs. It’s all going to depend on how this drives.

I’m saying that wearing a mask out of common courtesy and to try and limit the spread isn’t asking much, and if that is the current recommendation, we should follow it because it’s a bloody mask, not a ball and chain. Taking reasonable precautions to allow us to open up is sane.  Trying to pretend that this isn’t

1% of the worlds population is 70 Million. Are you actually arguing that we should just let that happen? Because that’s what’s natural?

I’ll do it if the game is worth a second playthrough, and 100% doesn’t require you do something totally unnatural (see: Subnautica, which just means pay a bit more attention and try a few things, not most RPGs, which require you do, well, something insane like farm 1M potatoes).

Everyone has to go into public at some point; no individual grocery stores or essential supplies, never mind that essential workers aren’t given much of a choice. That’s an extremely narrow view of the actual issue and ignores many substantive problems.

I do both all the time, but I also have reserves for things like that, if it were to happen.  I see your point.
