I think we found David Tracy’s hidden account.

I get cars that don’t get driven all that much (although I take Maggie Stiefvater’s approach more than not), but 3 years of sitting? In the driveway?

Just wish they put a sunroof on it.

Better than before sure- I’ve spent about 400 miles in an 18 CX-3, but it’s still not what I’d call “quiet”, but my definition may be skewed based on what I drive too.

Or they just don’t care, because it’s part of what makes their insanely busy life manageable.  One of my coworkers has 3 AMGs, two bought new - he drives close to 45k a year for work alone, dividing it up between two of them (one is his “fun” car and heavily modified). He swaps them off every three years in a

It’s a really cheap small car; it’s loud inside, as there’s very little noise insulation or sound deadening installed by design.  There are small ones that are quiet; they just happen to be expensive too.  Affordable, Quiet, not-stupid-slow, pick two.

Not really quiet inside, but good option.

Because a video assumes that I have a method of consuming audio at any given point in time.  In general, I do not - but I can read.  A video will never, ever, get watched - because I’m never going to have time to put something on audio unless I’m at home on my own time, in which case (no matter how good) Jalopnik

It’s not that wagons are lame, it’s that many don’t ~want~ or need a wagon. I’m fine with sedans or coupes. No kids, don’t have dogs, don’t need the storage - AWD is a plus, and decent power is awesome, but the rest is extra weight and an open storage container to hear things rattling around. Most folks who can drop 6

Because the A7 looks like a sedan.  Many of those who could afford an E63/RS6 don’t really want a wagon.

The “never meet your heroes” story had a bunch of folks saying that no, these actually were not that good after all.

You lose the alt-text when you do that.

Not sure if you’re serious or just trolling, but you do realize that communism does ~not work~ at scale, right?

So we get some number of kg of biomatter from you, and that’s about it? While I work to support randos off the internet?

If I don’t get to own personal property, then why am I working so hard?  What’s the motivation for putting in extra effort and work?

Which have FWD?  BMW is all RWD/AWD, Benz is all RWD/AWD, as is Cadillac and Lexus...  only ones that are FWD are Acura, and the Audi’s are always AWD voodoo.  Giving up RWD isn’t a requirement in this segment - in fact, it’s almost impossible to avoid.

Yeah, but the C7 was just another Corvette - there was certainly a stigma there, and a mid-engine with DCT looks-like-a-supercar changes things a bit.  They knocked the C8 out of the park.

It’s not a bad car, and it’s not overpriced; it’s just been rendered somewhat insignificant and of limited value due to changes in the market. If they’d released it a couple of years ago it’d be a different conversation, but their timing ~sucks~, and now in that 50-70k range there certainly appear to be better options

...  Imperial.  I vote.  Not quite a van drive imho.
