Those were test runs where they went up straight up 1000m and back down. That’s the highest they’ve tested at in the desert. There were tests where they shuffled over 100m and back, but they haven’t done one where the rocket started upside down/backwards. That requires much more fuel and maneuvering.

They also would

They are landing on a barge because the FAA won’t allow them to land on land until they prove out the technology. There are a lot less explodey things at sea. Mainly they don’t want the rocket to go off course and hit a populated area, which is why all rocket launches are from the east coast of Florida and aim over

It covers the crash bar, aka, actual bumper.

That was "Ford Performance Show Car" exclusive blue, not RS exclusive blue.

Covers the crash bar, just like on the ST

It's like this isn't a free country and people shouldn't be allowed to drive whatever little (or big) 4-wheeled contraption their little heart desires; whenever, wherever, and however they want.

Because of the shape. Quit thinking so literally.

A/C is an option.

They just replace the entire switch cluster with the start button on the top.

When you have 3 helicopters, drones (which have limited range) don't seem very useful when covering something as massive and spread out as Dakar.

A) I don't always drive my car on the roads, nor do I only drive to and from work, B) it doesn't take much to overwhelm all-season tires, C) as stated elsewhere, speed limit/rating has nothing to do with whether tires are "summer" or not, D) summer tires =/= track tires/slicks. While my tires would not last that long

Most places either have their own snow plow or hire it out. Also, wouldn't you have a pile of snow either way you removed it?

I imagine it would require not an insignificant amount of sensors, and with that, a computer brain, all of which would be subject to being iced over/frozen, as well as being more prone to equipment failure. Having the manual button would be much more dependable, not to mention much cheaper. If the company cared

Non-adjustable though, so your truck has to be juuuust the right height!

Thank you for your overgeneralized opinions and also for telling me what tires I can and can't use.

Snow tires DO make you stop quicker in the cold, snowy or not. Snow tires just have more grip when the temps dip, due to their construction.

Stopping on ice is a different matter though, and where studs come in.

When I bought my Focus ST, I received several perks, some planned, some unexpected. I got a free GoPro as part of the pre-order program. Since the trim level I ordered was delayed due to supplier issues, I also got some swag in the form of a scale model version of my car, a poster, t-shirt, and hat. Also, next weekend

There is a new 2.0L coming in the 2015 Edge. I don't think it's coming to this yet, though, because it is supposed to get a slight bump in power.
