Those of you familiar with Newfoundland may remember the ‘lord thunderin’ jaysus’ video of a mother scolding her grown son trying to shovel out of their house after a snowstorm. Now it’s a couple of ladies watching a piebald (white) moose in a pond on the side of the highway. The thing is a monster. 

Of all of Aretha’s wonderful duets, her cover of “The Weight” with Duane Allman is my favorite.
