SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!!

Have said it on every Marvel article - the MCU should have retained its formula for Phases. Have three-year phase with a handful of solo movies or smaller team-ups that lead to an event movie that pays off at least a handful of the post-credit hints and setups. I know there was some things out of Marvel’s control with

Chapek wasn’t a good CEO by any means but Iger is the one who pushed for Disney+ which is really the root of all of the problems Disney has had lately. Marvel had to double their output because D+ needed original content.

I mean that same company did put Star Wars on a break though. There hasn’t been a new Star Wars movie in four years and it’s going to be another few years before we see one as none of the many rumored projects seem to have started filming (AFAIK at least).

I don’t think the parent company that was eager to run Star Wars movies into the ground as fast as possible is interested in letting Marvel take a break.

My soul left my body for a second when I read your comment. We live in the worst possible timeline if that movie doesn’t happen.

Alright then. Fuck you, pay your artists and employees what they’re worth!

Well, one would hope that actual professional “reputation management” services would be more competent and less clownish.

She was not the problem in the sequel trilogy. They whole thing was a dumpster fire and should be wiped from canon, and our collective memories, but the actors were never the problem. Ridley, Boyega, Isaac, and Driver were all great casting.

The blow back on the Star Wars movies probably taught her to cash the Disney paycheck and then complete work that she enjoys.

It’s free to watch on the Roku Channel!

Not sure who produced this and has ownership, but it’d be nice of Peacock to make it available on their service, if possible.

That was objectively terrible. I loved every second of it.

Los Angeles really takes Halloween to the next level. I hadn’t considered how seriously all the actors, models, makeup artists, costume designers, etc. would celebrate a holiday where you wear costumes until I witnessed it in person. Kind of obvious in hindsight though.

“search your soul” speech for Dox to see her evil ways and admit B-15 “has honor”, then completely reverse herself.

I liked that not only did OB warn them the model wasn’t painted properly, but had made a sign warning “NOT TO SCALE”. Delightful.

Loki still sees himself, first and foremost, as a god—a more benevolent one now, but still possessed of an inherent need for order or control.

Interesting point that maybe this “event” sends Timely through the multiverse as the many Kangs. Which... isn’t really necessary, because infinite Variants are already a thing. But hey, who knows.

The Ouroboros model scene is a delightful riff on the Back to the Future scene and here for it.

Loki reflecting on Thor’s time on Earth was probably my favorite part of this episode. I really love that these shows allow the characters time to breath.
