He was pretty unlikeable in most of his first Stranger Things episode but he managed to believably morph from the guy we saw in his first few minutes into a proper badass by the end of the season. It never occurred to me that he might not be American until I was done watching and then looked him up.

That name stuck out like a sore thumb, given the things I know about him are basically 1) his CXGF appearance, 2) his death, and 3) a song which basically suggests by association that he’d probably never do anything willingly with Kanye, given whom Kanye has famously associated with in the past.

The semantics of the situation mean that “reanimated” and “undead” aren’t specifically mutually exclusive: the Monster was dead before and has reverted to a living state. Hence, “undead” works.

Anyone who looks at Maya Erskine and Donald Glover and doesn’t see “hot” needs to go in for readjusting. Which body part I don’t know, but something needs readjusting.

She phoned in her lines.

I mean, I know who she IS, vaguely remembering some of her roles (most recently in the Dexter revival), but yeah, it’s not like she was a giant A-Lister brought down to slumming for health care. In fact, I’m not even sure how she ended up on my radar, given I was one of those families that didn’t get cable TV. The

That is an incredibly fantastic and hilarious explanation. Thanks for the lesson.

Also I wonder if the Japanese word for “hoodie” actually comes from “Parka.” That feels more likely.

The German word for “labor” is actually “arbeit.” “Albeit” is, still surprisingly after fortysomething years, pronounced “all-be-it.”

Aren’t bad wigs part of the Arrow reunion?

“Live” is the loanword the Japanese use to refer to a concert performance. “Love Live!” is the overall franchise name, “School Idol Festival” is, I think, a subfranchise of the franchise (think Persona for Shin Megami Tensei) and the “Miracle Live” is, I believe, the sequel subtitle.

Look, I suffered through the Catwoman trailer (hey, tying it all back to Halle Berry!) because the actual movie ended up coming out, the bar is pretty low at my end. (I enjoyed 2023's DC releases, so I figure why not.)

I actually liked his cameo in Luke Cage. Finn Jones is still not my first choice in casting, but he clearly wasn’t the actual problem with the show.

It really didn’t need a second season but I enjoyed it anyway. It was fun while it happened, and I think it made good on Kaley Cuoco’s comic hot mess skills, but I don’t think anyone was expecting a third season.

So would you say that there isn’t much...sting to it? That it isn’t worth the buzz? (Dammit, the headline uses the “buzz” pun.)

Does Daggerfall Unity spawn buggy, procedurally seeded dungeons too? (My understanding is that the non-quest dungeons were generated on the fly.)

He first showed up on my radar during Rush Hour and for that he’ll have my eternal gratitude. He had that perfect blend of friendly/menacing hat was perfect for the role.

Surprisingly, just to confirm that I spelled it correctly. I spent a lot of time on the NHIE subreddit.

Je regrette au moins une chose.

I still want it to be a Skrull impersonator of Hugh Jackman named Jack Human in a Wolverine suit, but whatever.
