I’ve noted you razzed on the kid in Die Hard 5 but the other kid in Die Hard 4 was one of the best things they did (mostly because she wasn’t portrayed as trying to be anything other than an ordinary person, whereas Johnny was an actual spy).
We still need that movie.
Is this what a stroke feels like
Thank you, yes. The OP got me to watch the show, and considering it’s set to a Japanese Euromix cover of a Hungarian pop song (which was fun in a cute way; I vaguely remember it though it’s always possible I incepted that memory), I was surprised at how much of a banger it was.
Why yes, Henry, we ARE having fun!
Considering how many accents I’d have picked up (international city, people from multiple continents) and how much American TV I consume, I don’t think it’d be hard to reject other accents in favor of the neutral US.
I lived in Europe for like twenty years, and while I’m pretty sure I kept with the neutral American accent, some of my friends back home swore I had more of a Euro accent for some reason. I never got that. Occasionally I’d use Euro inflection but having codeswitched for the better part of my life with the rest of my…
If I were bothered by accurate accent work, I think I’d hate virtually any media not using the neutral American accent/received pronunciation. The accent worked on me as intended: OTT to the point where it broke through the bottom of bad and went to hilarious again.
I’ve heard everything else she does with her mouth, and it is worth rewarding.
I do remember how much I loved it and watched it again a second time. Even knowing the Dances With Alien Wolves of it all, it was incredible...while watching it.
The Daily Show with Whoever
Yes, Madam as well, though I suppose she shares top billing with Cynthia Rothrock in that case.
I mostly identify him with Wet Hot American Summer, but I just realized he didn’t direct it, but write it.
The thing I’m finding most fascinating about this—from the articles, at least, I spend most of my time watching Let’s Watches rather than Let’s Plays—is that it seems like Amouranth’s personality was not a put-on forced by her husband. Personality is the same, there’s just no strings on her anymore. She’s been herself…
That’s a really good question and I can’t find any sources for it. I checked the places I’d normally find this information and nope.
I understood they paid a hefty bonus to her to get vaccinated, because without her they wouldn’t be able to finish the movie.
You get a star just for using a relatively deep cut Popstar joke. Comparing Cassian Andor to Seal is one hell of a metaphor.
While I agree with you, I am also petty as hell and any chance we get of Science Genius Girl doing Science Genius Things against the beliefs of Not-very-Science-Genius Actress will trigger the schadenfreude that makes me a little more whole.
I miss the Kotaku fish.
