I’m pretty sure the plot is that he is resuscitated but drags along Tina Fey’s soul, who also gets at least partial control of his body à la All of Me. Which doesn’t contradict your thing.

Soderbergh has always coaxed his actors to their finest performances. He made me take George Clooney and JLo seriously in Out of Sight, and he directed perpetual popcorn favorite to critical acclaim here.
