Maybe because you can look at a bunch of other countries in the world where it’s perfectly possible for everyone to pay for healthcare in their taxes and it works. I’m in the UK and never think damn my taxes are helping people with diseases caused by smoking/drinking/preventable stuff. It can and does work without

This is all so similar to me so massive sympathies. My father was a charming, funny but highly manipulative and abusive asshole. Always kept up appearances to the outside world and a teacher in our tiny town so for years I’ve been stopped if I ever go back there to tell me what a great influence he was on various

Yeah I’m a Brit and in my industry and house we use it quite casually and regularly.

Here in the UK we have a mother fucking ocean surrounding us and people desperate enough to be fleeing things so awful we can’t even imagine STILL find a way in.

THANK YOU I WAS WONDERING THIS ALSO.

Yes me too!

Another sweeping statement about Europe not making progress and not allowing other races to assimilate. I live in London and it’s a melting pot believe me. It also has issues with racism, especially post Brexit. What I’m saying is I don’t believe the US or Europe are worse or better, the whole world seems to be pretty

I really don’t think you can make blanket statements about the whole of Europe being oblivious to their attitudes.

Who says that? Did you hear about the fun times we’ve been having with Brexit, the burka ban in France, Poland and Ireland’s mad abortion laws and Hungary not accepting refugees any more. We’re all fooked I tell you....

Hugs to you and I hope it works. I too have been taking mine from 15-30 and have had bouts of depression but it’s hard to know if that’s due to the majority of people I care about leaving/dying during that time period. So many variables, and as I’ve said above I find the crippling pain depressing and get terrible PMS

I just did a small laugh snort on a train. Not at your pain but because I agree. They actually improve my mood too, I’m way more PMS-y when I’m not on the pill.

Parkinsons comes with a fun side of dementia more often than not too. My dad has been told he has both PD and LBD, I’m not sure if there is a definitive test for one of the other. Sorry you’re going through this too :-/

Maybe I’m wrong but I thought it was possible to have both PD and LBD, my father has been diagnosed as having both. It’s horrendous.

Love the series but wait till you get to the end, more ‘unlikeable’ stuff comes out....

I know, the key is at Christmas you can get more alcohol during these breaks, then cry more drunkenly and dramatically as the ship starts sinking.

YES. Then in series two he’s only in a few flashbacks, and it seems like his son (spoiler) is trying to replicate the creepy/shadiness but it’s really not working.

Season one was ok if you stuck with it, but now I’m a few episodes into season two and feeling very meh about it and not sure I have the energy to finish it.

I am not ashamed to say I freaking loved it. When I see it is on TV, usually at Christmas time I say ‘We MUST watch this, yes it is available on demand and on a dusty dvd somewhere but the excitement of it being on TV ‘live’ means we must watch it now. Again.’

That man who furiously wanked at my friend and I in Venice will be so thrilled.

I’m the only person who kind of likes the blue ones aren’t I?
