If you want a worthy follow-up to The Guest, this ain't it, but still a very fun found footage movie. Wingard directed the shit out of it but unfortunately Barrett's script keeps it from being anything more. Pretty uninteresting characters, which is really disappointing considering how great the characters were in

I've been looking forward to this one ever since it was announced and while it hasn't been some grand slam show—yet—it's really been exactly what I'd expected. The Louie comparisons are inevitable because even ignoring every obvious connection, it's delivering that brand of realness and sentimentality that only Louie

This is exactly how I felt around this time last year. I don't mind it so much this year, because I guess I just kind of expect the show to be more cartoonish and mean-spirited in the first few episodes before gradually grounding itself.

"Yes, even the Cruiserweight Classic has flaws."

I think the bigger issue there was Orton/Lesnar main eventing to begin with. I'm not really sure what option there was with Rollins/Balor and Ambrose/Ziggler, two decidedly not big time matches, as the title matches, but still. I'd have maybe paired Ambrose with Triple H or something and let that main event.

Well, I do (or if nothing else, I don't want him to win… this month), but that's another matter entirely. I'm not really a fan of the feeling that that trope needs to be adhered to anyway.

These aren't young people who listen to whatever the Top 40 radio station is. They're intelligent characters who know a thing or two about how to use the internet. Great music is timeless, and it's pretty ignorant to think young adults don't listen to revered music from the 80s. I should know, as I'm 21, and generally

I actually really dug the Summerslam ending. Maybe not the whole thing with Shane coming out, but the finish to the match itself. It was very different, in what I felt was a good way, got Brock heat as a legit heel (in addition to making him look like a total monster), and was frankly better than any other finish to

I'm watching Talking Smack and Ziggler is doing some of his best work selling this IC title match. Not yelling or putting himself over so much, but adding a lot of depth to the story. Talking Smack is becoming a really excellent show. Give this man a raise.

Well he could lock in the Calf Crusher or set up the Phenomenal Forearm (contrived as the latter would be). It's go-home ending 101 for one of the guys to hit his finisher.

Seriously, Smackdown's got an issue with punctuation marks on their endings. The show just… ends. Have AJ do a Styles Clash and pose with the title after the low blow, and that's a hell of a lot better of an ending.

Well they should've had Rollins work tweener with Roman turning heel. That match at MITB should've cemented it—the match was 100% worked like a double turn. All that was missing was a post-match attack from Reigns.

Until Rusev costs Roman his match next week.

The mental image of the three girls running off from this interview to bother Chris Geere just tickles me. It's even better if I imagine it with him being in character as Jimmy.

The cruiserweights are going to be a big make or break thing for me with this show. It has the potential to completely reinvigorate RAW as we know it and turn things around for the best. Or it can be a dud. It's all on the way it's presented. If it's presented like everything else on Raw and is basically another

Reading all of these intelligent, well-spoken sentences in Lindsay's voice is just not working for me. Is that a fake voice on the show? It has to be, right?

Surely it's better than soda, though, right? If not, what the hell am I supposed to drink? Gatorade? Milk? I dig water and all, but I can't only drink water. I need something with flavor.

Well the point I'm making is that Smackdown is proving that that isn't the case at all. It's not perfect, sure, but there's no complete garbage that makes me embarassed that I watch the show, which there was more than enough of in 2011.

Man, it wasn't a blowaway episode, but I feel like it was a big step up from the first two premieres. The show really elevated itself over the course of season two, and it's abundantly clear that they're staying at that level. The drama is in the backseat but it hasn't disappeared completely. It makes sense that Jimmy

While we're all having fun making fun of the premise, I think this sounds promising. It's a pretty interesting concept that sounds perfect for Falk's style, and after last season of You're the Worst I'd keep an open mind even if he announced his next show was about friends who own a bar.
