I’d give them some time to fine-tune it. If done correctly, and not used to interrupt the flow of the game (i.e.; only apply it to goals and cards - and for cards, not issuing, but simply to confirm if the on-field refs got it right) VAR should prove an asset in such situations when the play is stopped anyhow.
