Curves tried a comeback but didn't succeed very well. Although I'm not sure it was the curves fault.

You can say the same thing about keyless entry. But everyone got used to it to the point that it's an inconvenience if you have to put your key into the door lock to open it.

Today's models would have a button ignition. Imagine how annoying that would be. You'd have to cover it so your passengers don't press it by accident.

I think that's the biggest issue with interneships. Companies bring them in knowing that they'll get free labour from them and then say goodbye. They try to justify it by saying it's great experience, which the interns start to believe in order to have hope of a great future. I interned with a hockey team one year and

I did 2-1 on a motorcycle once. Never did it again, in anything I drove. I don't even downshift into 2nd if I know I'll be coming to a stop. I downshift into 2nd if the light turns green and I know I'll be speeding up.
