He’s in treatment and very open about it. I’m guessing you don’t need to worry about him being responsible since he obviously is.

BPD is a set of coping mechanisms that can be changed through therapies like DBT and CBT and medication. People with BPD can learn and practice new coping mechanism that, with hard work, can replace their old ones and effectively remove the label. Yes, “cured” is not the right term, but one can move out of the

Man, you are mean as hell. BPD is one of the most common mood disorders out there. It affects 1.6% of the population. You probably know lots of people with it that don’t fit into your bigoted stereotypes.

Yes to this. I work on my BPD every single day and I am an incredibly self-sufficient and organized person. People like Davidson who are open and hard-working with their illnesses are NOT broken. They are incredibly strong people who probably are way more effective at managing their lives than the average person. I

Do not ever armchair diagnose BPD. It advances stigma. People only ever armchair diagnose people with BPD when they dislike them. It’s incredibly mean and those of us who actually have it hear or read this shit and it’s really hurtful. We’re not all bitches.

I have BPD and I refuse to watch it because of the title, frankly. The only good example of BPD I’ve ever seen out of Hollywood is Jennifer Lawrence in Silver Linings Playbook. I don’t think BPD was overtly stated in that as her issue, but that’s what it was.

Yep. These comments (mostly concern trolls) definitely reflect that.

It’s fun how you cite the stigma surrounding BPD and then go on to perpetuate it in the rest of your comment, completely ignoring that a) you have no idea about Davidson’s personal life, and b) his openness about his treatment. Jesus Christ. Having BPD is hard enough without people like you acting like we’re serial

I think my BPD is mostly gone too and it’s the best feeling!

At least that huge fucking lot will now be taxed and no longer exempt from property taxes.

Yes, true! And if healthy habits make you a happier person, then all the more reason to stick with them. :)

Oooooo that sounds interesting. I mean, we’ll have to wait for like 50 years for the results of such a study, but it sounds like a cool idea!

I mean, my parents were healthy eaters who exercised regularly and nothing offends me more than running and working out, so modeling that good behavior doesn’t necessarily mean your kid’s going to be a natural little sports person.

I really ant to write about Antichrist, but, y’all. I do not think I can sit through that again.

Echoing this. I’d really like to know what we can do, outside of voting, to help these women (and incarcerated men, obviously).

“more legitimate reasons”: the only part of this comment I did not care for.

Excellent assessment.

I noticed this as well, and I am in no way a LOTR super fan. Like, it’s in the first paragraph of his Wikipedia.

I thought it was pretty, but would have been better lined. The cut and fit looked great on her, but it didn’t really need to be sheer.

Kim is pretty bold to say that she’s happy not to have to breastfeed (even with her perfectly valid reasons), because there are some nutso breastfeeding mama warriors out there that are super excited about designating this as their hill to die on. Have fun with that, Kim!
