I need more information about the extended commercial for My Pillow, which has some of the greatest infomercials known to man.

If they were really treating the remains as a human corpse, this would be an option, since dead bodies are donated to science all the time. I feel like there are grounds for a serious lawsuit here, emotional abuse notwithstanding.

As I understand it, a lot of this segregation stems from a cultural understanding of rape as in some way the victim’s fault. If that is true, I’m not sure what the hope is for these women. I would say they should emigrate, but where would they go in this global climate?

That’s not a parenthetical; it’s just a prepositional phrase. The sentence can stand without it, but it does not require commas.
