I’m not really seeing any fails here. I just read a writeup on an incident where ATC played the “a bunch of other plans flew through it just fine” card, and a lot of people died when a microburst whipped up.

Pilot saw something that made him uneasy, and didn’t fly through it. ATC kept him from hitting anybody.…

To be honest it sounds safer than keeping it in the pit near all the people, fuel, cars, oil, etc.

I once tried to put out a fire with speed. Didn’t work- there wasn’t enough to smother the flames so it just melted and gakked out half the neighborhood.

It’s ridiculous to put this on the parents or anyone else other than the perpetrator. He did it, it’s his fault, everyone else is an innocent victim, and may he and all scum like him be put in jail.

It sounds to me like you either don’t have kids or you have very young kids. Am I right?
