This ageism sucks. Biden has grown more progressive in his views as he’s gotten older. I’ve actually become a little more moderate (not in my cultural/social beliefs). And he’s been a damn effective President given the hand he’s been dealt. Being younger doesn’t automatically make you right or better.

Buffy is my favorite show ever and I get how problematic Whedon was and is but GD The Nevers was the girl powered steampuck Victorian drama of my dreams. I shall miss it.

Dems just passed a bunch of legislation that will actually bring down prices for millions of people ($35/month insulin caps), Medicare negotiating drug prices, up to $20k in student loan forgiveness, etc. but the fact that you’re unaware of is it maybe part of the problem—lack of messaging.

I hate to agree. Just returned from my first visit and while I loved southern Oregon (Ashland is great!), Portland was a huge disappointment. I always imagined it as a place I could move to but the desperation downtown, boarded up buildings and tent cities were shocking, even to this New Yorker.
