I kinda think the $35k price point was always a bit of red herring vis-a-vis the democratization of electric cars.

I’ve always thought it looked like a duck, but only recently have I warmed up to its looks.
LOL...former FR-S owner here, and she was judgy as hell about that car while I owned it. She called it my mid-life crisis. To put it politely, she did not appreciate the firmness of the ride. So she was thrilled when I told her I was getting a “grown-up” Accord. However, when she saw the color I chose, she was aghast…
After about two years of trying to convince my wife to get a wagon, she finally found one she likes - a lot...unfortunately, it’s the Fiat 500L, so now I’m faced with a classic enthusiast’s conundrum. Is a mediocre (some would say bad) wagon better than no wagon at all?

But muh Tea, Earl Grey, Hot?
Interesting...I know very little about physics (let alone rocketry) other than the very basics, but I know wurdz reel gud, so most of what you’re saying makes sense. So basically, a bigger rocket has more hollow space so the amount of weight you’re adding isn’t significant enough to require that much more power?…
When do you think we’ll reach the point where we’ll build these in space and ferry up people and materials instead of trying to launch everything up there at once?
The question I have is will there be more or less people in Texas who will shoot at it than in Florida?
Don’t forget the replicators.
I think you’re spot on here. The reason the iPhone took off like it did wasn’t just because it was a superior product (see BetaMax). It was because Jobs created the content ecosystem several years before so that when the iPhone finally arrived there was already a compelling value proposition around music, movies and…
