Ha! That was something that really bothered me about the film. It had to cover every single point of history tied to the OT. Pair of dice, chewie life debt, meeting Lando, winning the Falcon, Kessel Run...I’m sure there’s more. I didn’t hate the film, but it tried too hard.

I think the popularity of KISS surged in response to the popularity of Disco (party and score while on coke) and Punk (party and score while on heroin). A bit ironic really because they incorporated the pageantry of Disco with the simplicity of Punk, which railed against 30 minute guitar solos and high-concept albums.

I know very little about BMWs, but I came painfully close to convincing my wife to buy a very, very low mileage single-owner 2013 X1 35i xDrive this last spring. It had something like 13k miles and was for sale on Carvana for around $19k (which I know is more than what the LW has budgeted, but not the point). Man,

The auto-reverse issue was the first thing I thought of when I read the headline. Used to happen all the time in my old Corolla.

I didn’t even notice this, though I am not spending much time on the site these days...the funny thing is that the corp firewall blocks google docs, so I can’t even vote anymore unless I go through the trouble of looking it up on a personal device...which I won’t.

Obligatory Miata suggestion.

Jaaaag?

What about kissing? Wouldn’t the same logic apply? Oh and btw, what about consent/agency?

We probably know some of the same people.

Hilarious (and you weren’t 100% wrong about the dinosaur)! And cool (about growing up in LH). I was a Casa View hood rat myself. My BiL and his family live over there now, which is how I came to know about the peacock population. He hasn’t mentioned the screaming, but it is also quite a sight (just realized I wrote si

Literal peacocks...not a euphemism for sex workers, lol.

The Lake Highlands neighborhood of Dallas has a large feral peacock population (some Albino as well, which is a site to behold)

CP on principle

Price is maybe a little high for the year and mileage, but it’s in line with the market. Would prefer to get a year with the updated infotainment and a color other than white. CP at this price, NP for $1500 or so less.

I really enjoy my Accord 2.0T 6MT (though I rarely get to drive it these days), and I get a ton of compliments on the color. My only complaints are the sub-par sound system and the road noise at highway speeds. It’s a shame they are killing it off, but it’s hardly a surprise. I plan on hanging on to mine until the

Thanks for clarifying...were you the seller or the eventual buyer?

That’s unfortunate, but it makes sense because her arc in Season 4, compared to previous seasons, was going nowhere. She’ll be missed.

The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the one or the few?

End of April? Try end of June. I don’t doubt that some knuckleheads will attempt to re-open their factories too soon, but all they’ll end up doing is facilitating a second spike in cases, which is what’s now happening in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Singapore and South Korea, which had been seeing a decline until they re

It’s a good thing Ford learned their lesson and never again applied the Mustang nameplate to an undeserving vehicle.
