As a straight white guy, this also sounds like a good time to me. Most of the time when I feel the need to open my mouth anymore it’s to negate something another straight white guy says.

I didn’t even realize there were two bad batches! I’d better check my shit ;)
Seriously. He basically plays the most likeable guy on earth AND and an NFL QB convincingly. In retrospect, it’s a pretty amazing accomplishment.
I’m not going to say which ones don’t belong on this list, but I’m surprised not to see his role in The Replacements and his role in The Bad Batch.
Kinda surprised not to see Marc Cohn or Michael Bolton on this list.
I gotta give you kudos for such a well-written and detailed article. Good stuff.
But only with hot/spicy foods. And in that case I think it’s about establishing that you won’t be upset with them for “over spicing” something.
The only context I’ve consistently done this in is with hot sauce from Halal carts or when dining in at a Thai restaurant (though asking for Thai Spicy usually gets better results, I didn’t always know that).
As does yours!
You’ve got a lot of rage in that tiny brain of yours.
Somehow I didn’t see your comment before I posted mine. In that movie the fact that they weren’t using real guns also made it possible to shoot in some really old/classy buildings without risking damaging them...iirc he said they wouldn’t have even gotten permission to shoot the church gunfight there if they’d been…
Yeah, sure.
I repeat my second question: how can you be sure they’re Latino? Or are you ignorant enough to think you can identify them by their color, hair, and/or accent?
Definitely not going to argue with Chad Stahelski, but Robert Rodriguez was one of the earlier people to use CGI in place of real guns - he used rubber guns for a shootout that had to take place in a historical building in Once Upon A Time In Mexico - and he’s pretty famously known for being able to make great movies…
Why does it matter that the assailants were Latino? And how can we even be sure of that?
Swattie here who spent a fair amount of time hanging out at Bryn Mawr as a Sophomore (over a decade before you attended)...just wanted to comment that that was well said, and I think your article was one of the more worthwhile things I’ve read in a while.
Yeah, I clicked on this article expecting that people had been making comments like “KAKOW” with respect to her physique and that it bothered her.
Isn’t cannibalism in post-apocalyptic scenarios less a trope and more of a predictable result?
His obsession with her must pale in comparison to Art Modell’s...Art moved a whole football team to Baltimore! Talk about having a fixation on Jada Pinkett Smith...I won’t even get into David Simon.
The Ladykillers beat out Garfield?!?
