Pretty much the only reason I clicked on this article. I was like “Hook can’t possibly be on this list, right? Right?!?”

I’m rooting for them to bring in Haley Joel Osment as a long-lost Roy child who suddenly becomes Logan’s favorite and stirs up a bunch of family shit.

His panic attack during the hotel coup in Succession has me in stitches every time.

Take a deep breath and calm down.

Is it ok to ask if the Girl Scouts they’re made with are grass or corn fed?

I get real “walk of shame” vibes from the second slide.

Gotta hand it to him for trying to build a full scale model of a design for the wooden car derby from his Boy Scout days.

Fair points, I’m probably being too hard on the movie...but my understanding is the author was not welcome in that town after the book came out, whereas they probably have a statue of Peter Berg there.

Same goes for Friday Night Lights. The book is an indictment of HS football culture in Texas. The movie is a glorification of it.

THANK YOU.

I guess I’d call it a “session” version of shots, which is how it’s usually drunk in my experience. You can sit around doing shots of it for about twice as long as, say, vodka, and longer if you pace yourself.

I’ll also add that I think Dave Bautista displays incredible emotional range, with a lot of complexity to it. Like Ford and Cox he can’t really escape who he is physically, but he’s great at portraying complex emotions and making you wonder what his character is thinking (imo).

Yeah, it was a bit of a letdown after Get Shorty, which is also one of my favorites.

Touche, I actually laughed out loud at that. But while I agree that their range is limited in the sense that they can’t really escape their singular physical presence, they’ve both demonstrated they can play a much wider range of emotions than, well, The Rock or John Cena.

I know you didn’t mean to do it, but you can’t really compare the role choices of Brian Cox and Harrison Ford to those of The Rock and John Cena. Of course the former pair regularly gets the kind of role that they’ve proven they can easily crush, but both of them have also taken on characters that were smarmy,

Bravo for pointing out the sad clown energy of John Cena. That is just *chefs kiss*

My fave is Be Cool. Not a great movie overall, but easily my favorite performance by The Rock outside of The Other Guys.

And fabulous boots, true.

Except Peter Parker always has to have a job, and usually he’s a step away from being fired from it. He also has powers, which Batman doesn’t.
