Not to mention a pretty scary thing to hear from a guy you’re alone in a room with, especially one with a perceived level of authority.

Kinda surprised not to find Kristen Bell’s exit from Deadwood on this list. That one was nasty. Though I guess it wasn’t much of a scandal.

Probably, though my limited understanding of BJJ has also led me to understand that every match ends because someone made an exploitable mistake.

I imagine it’s an even split between some being awestruck and others being “oh boy I get to kick Venom’s ass!”

I guess? I’ve had sea urchin (I’ll try pretty much anything once or twice) and didn’t really dig it though I can see the appeal, but I’d imagine that to the untrained eye that picture looks like five orange tongues served raw.

You probably could have just gone with the headline and that picture - it says it all.

Seriously. They should give her all the roles that would have previously gone to Liam Neeson. It’d be much more fun, and much more plausible.

I think you mean “regal” ;)

Every time I hear something about him I like him more.

“But I made this big, scary strawman! You have to attack it or else you agree with me!”

I also prefer The Departed, but I feel like saying “it owes a lot to its predecessor” kinda undersells things.

While I don’t agree with everything you said, I feel like you also probably got a lot more out of Infernal Affairs than I did.

You deserve more stars for this.

I don’t give a fuck about convincing you it’s a strawman argument - I would have to think it wasn’t a strawman argument before I’d wade into that shit.

Nah, that’s a strawman argument for sure. Just saying “your kind” makes you sound like a raging asshole with far more difficulty relating to others than the average nerd. In my experience at least.

I liked the Departed quite a bit more, but that might have just been because it was centered around a somewhat familiar cultural reference point, i.e., Whitey Bulger and the Boston mob.

I wonder how long they’ve been 25 years old.

There’s another important question about that picture: WTF is up with that flag?!?!?

Or China, where women are an endangered species.

At this rate, I fear that in another 50 years we’ll be like Russia, where women are so oppressed and disinterested that the majority of men have taken to wearing women’s underwear just to feel some kind of feminine touch.
