Yeah, you said it better than I could, but that’s 100% why I didn’t see the movie. Who has time for that shit?

Wow...that makes complete sense and yet it had never occurred to me, having never come across one of those...thanks for the education and I hope your feet are ok!

Did I just see two of the guys in that commercial drop the pull tab back into their beer?!? Is that how it was done back in the day? Inquiring minds want to know!

Hey, give him some credit...maybe he stayed at a Holiday Inn on his way there.

I’m no expert, but that’s what I’ve heard, yeah. According to this completely reliable and infallible source it’s experienced a lot of later commercial success as well as critical reappraisal: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Showgirls

I also might add Rocky Horror Picture Show as a contender.

Well, for the Last Action Hero, it’s gotten a lot of love from fans after getting screwed at the box office and critically for a ridiculously overblown ad campaign as well as historically bad timing.

I thought the kid was pretty good actually. Certainly he didn’t detract from the movie, at least for me.

I couldn’t top your usage of the movie’s dialog...brilliant, just brilliant (have a star!). I had to try something though, hence my previous comment. Unfortunately I ended up being a fourth wheel.

It’s behind the eight ball, you moron.

I flat-out loved that movie from the start, and I feel like the more time passes the more impressive it gets...Ian McKellen as Death?!? Charles Dance as the British villain?!? Danny F’in DeVito as a talking cat?!?!?

Psycho (the first one that is)? Office Space? The Last Action Hero? Showgirls?

“...and that’s how I ended up swapping pie recipes with a white supremacist.”

It broke my heart a little the day I realized that cops lying to you is the rule rather than the exception. I actually thought there might be some kinda law against it back in my more naïve days, but I’ve come to realize it’s not even malicious, just expedient. There’s no rule or law against them lying, so they’ll

I was disappointed in Hell or High Water - really wanted to like it, bought it on blu-ray and watched it a few times just to make sure I wasn’t missing something - and found it to be not good. I mean, it’s ok, but it should be so much better than it is.

The Teledildonics sounds like a good band name. Maybe for a smooth jazz trio or the like.

Hell yes he’s a villain. He’s far from the worst of the bunch and likable for sure, and it’s easy to forget that he makes his living off of other people’s misery until he starts slapping a stripper around or murdering Adriana. But that behavior puts him square in villain territory for me.

Yes sir, Mr. Dean Cain sir!

Could someone PLEASE consider the straight dudes?

Not to mention the additional challenges dealing with the Weinsteins of the world...I often wonder how different Hollywood would look if women didn’t have to tolerate sexual advances from directors or producers to get roles.
