I caught on a semi-pro team where one of the pitchers would literally wave his glove to signal what pitch he was about to throw, just like every other pitcher does during warm-ups, but during the game against live hitting.

In terms of benefiting from his father, I think genes went a lot further than nepotism in the Rock’s case. My impression is you pretty much have to be a physical freak to be in pro wrestling, no matter who your parents are.

Funny you should mention that, I more or less got run off the road (in my car) by a big black SUV with a Coexist bumper sticker. They also shouted some stuff at me after I honked at them. I found the whole experience pretty ironic.

I was thinking about how one would go about staging such a thing when it occurred to me that you could keep 90% of the video and swap out a few of the clips and make the video say just about anything you wanted...in fact it’d be really cool if someone with more video skills and motivation than me just re-edited this…

Yeah I always assumed it was the opposite, but never really tested it - I was only watching the dubbed version that time because I was drunk, and I had to re-watch sober to make sure I hadn’t imagined it.

I experienced that for the first time with Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon...and I found that the dubbed dialogue had a LOT more information than the subtitles - as in, important information for the story. I guess because people talk faster than they read.

Well, at least the frat in that picture no longer exists.
