I appreciated the determination and effort this guy has placed into the build. However at the end of the day ,you are building a high functioning replica of your dream car. I would rather have a single Tribeca flat six, a Porsche six or “gasp” an LS motivate the car. It would not be period correct, but the car will

Funny, I just bought a Vibe for my twins who are newly minted drivers. For me, it was a Corolla platform with a hatch that appeals to me for new drivers. The drive train is reliable and parts are cheap. It is easy to work on should the need arise. It handles better than you think. It averages 27 mpg in mixed driving.

From my experience, I learned to drive on a 1988 Mazda Bseries truck. It was way under powered but had a fantastic manual. I followed that with a 1993 Nissan Pathfinder (5 speed). Both were excellent manuals(for trucks).

I tried to replace the serpentine belt on my wife’s 2008 CRV. Easy enough, I have done this to dozens of cars. “No problem, piece of cake”, I thought.

Good choice. I have a work version of this van and generally surprised at the fuel efficiency (sometimes 26-28mpg but mid 20's typically), comfort, and small footprint on sites. There are two issues I have with it. The brakes are touchy (I swear it takes me about 5 minutes to get adjusted to them. I mean like step on

I agree completely on the Cassette to aux cord gizmo. I had a older Ranger with a Cassette and this accessory was a godsend. I was pleasantly surprised that I could even find one

I’m your opinion, where does the Yaris iA stand in the B segment class. Would this be your top choice?

My first truck was a 1988 Mazda Bseries. Shortly after buying it, I ripped out the bench seat and put RX7 seats and a Pep-Boys center console in it. The truck did not have A/C and the truck was under powered but to this day the Mazda was my favorite truck. It had a great clutch and was dead reliable. It suffered tin

It goed back to the motto that the best Acura is a slightly used Acura. They are perfectly fine cars ( I have a MDX/off lease) but the pricee point new is too steep between Acura and the Honda stable mates.

My 2 cents:

I would love to see this product come to market but it is not looking good. Talk about wrong vehicle(with the required legislative hurdles) at the wrong time (cheap gas right now).

I think the comparison to Ferrari has some merits. . Ferrari happens to be a smallish  sports car manufacturer coupled with a large apparel/licensing business. Harley Davidson is a large motorcycle company with a reliance on apparel/licensing sales.

Makes sense as the Genesis sub brand are taking its place. My brother has/has the first Gen Azera and currently the car has over 250ooo miles on it with very little maintenance items needed(timing chain tensioners the only non scheduled maintenance item needed). He drives a long commute and recently gave this to his

I understand the appeal value wise but remember that with few exceptions most police fleet vehicles are driven hard. Cruisers spend countless hours either idling or occasionally going WOT. Some departments “hotseat” cruisers (all three shifts share from a limited fleet as I did back in the day).

The Pentastar engine is supposed to be very nice. How does it handle with the weight of a fully laden Challenger? I’m old enough to remember when 200hp Mustang s ruled the day. Pretty nice that a “base” engine has close to 300hp. Also how seamless is the AWD system? Also combined mpg during your tenure? Thanks

He is using this for drifting. Are the inspections the same or similar as with SCCA or the like? (for the record, I have no idea . I also have never installed racing seats or remotely have any idea about the proper setup for a racing.)

The Corrado is a nice car, but definitely not at that price. At this price the Corrado better be able to run on re-hydrated baby tears. Oh , it may be the legendary VW reliability.......

Damn talk to text...teenage girls now

Coming from a father of twins (teenage fields node), the Honda Odyssey is the best choice for the next couple of years. It is comfortable, reliable, and had the space you will need ( I had a 2001 Odyssey when my kids were born until about 2008) . When w didn’t need it anymore, we sold it within a week to another
