I don’t think it’s fair to refer to AOC as a frightened little child.  Her heart seems to be in a good place, even if her ideas aren’t sustainable.  I’m sure as she learns a bit more about how the real world works, she will evolve.

I didn’t say she was making promises she couldn’t deliver. I made a general statement that promising people free things that you can’t actually deliver on is a great way to get elected. (See Trump’s Wall).

While I appreciate your condescension, history has demonstrated that most of what she’s advocating for leads to disastrous outcomes for all.

You’re right. I should probably spend more time articulating myself to strangers on the internet and debating semantics because that seems like a valuable use of my time.

I didn’t say she promised the outcome. Clearly, she won’t be able to pass that legislation.

She is however selling the promise of free college education, universal basic income, and free housing (because public housing is always awesome!).

Here’s a funnier myth:  Socialism works.

I don’t see any reason why the Dems should have to have a ledger full of numbers to account for every penny if the other party doesn’t.
