The rust belt would have been screwed regardless.

In this case “Rust is a Beach”

Came here to jump your shit about calling an RX-3 an RX-7, then I realized it’s an RX-3 front on an RX-7.............

Go push them on a track. Unless you apply throttle, or lift off throttle to get the rear out, they understeer. Period.

That the whole rear frame of this was almost gone:

1. It’s a disaster inside.

For $3k I would go buy this, with one stipulation: I’m pulling the rear interior panels off to check for strut tower rot. These cars can look immaculate from the outside, even underneath, but their design led to the rear towers rotting off.

That’s fine, it’s traded off and out of warranty by then....

Eh, could be killed by any of those regardless of what your driving.

Yes.

Most vehicles understeer like pigs from factory, regardless of driven wheels.

And more weight, which will make handling worse, negating the .5s quicker.

I drove a gas F250, then I drove the diesel. I never looked back.

I like having a crew cab long bed 3/4 ton truck that can pull whatever I want while still being able to crack mid 20s on the highway. The smell from a diesel doesn’t bug me, then again, neither does the smell of a gasoline engine, and I’ve been around plenty of those that smoke and stink more than most diesels.

Rain: Cooling mist.

A diesel pickup and a bro’d out coal roller are 2 different things sweetheart.

Why wouldn’t one use this daily?

Better mileage, more torque, smooth power delivery.

And how much was stuck into that engine to get there?
