Almost like it’s something an attentive driver should do for themselves...

So buy an MDX, then immediately dump money into it for a timing belt and worn suspension?

Yet deaths per mile driven have increased the last 2 years, so going by your logic that means new cars are actually more dangerous.

You’re making a lot of assumptions there without knowing the history of either vehicle.

Did banks stop doing personal loans?

I used my cruise control all the time. If I come up behind someone going slower than I would like, I change lanes and pass them. If it’s a 2 lane road, I kick it off and either reset to their speed, or pass at the next passing zone.

And nothing says a different $10k vehicle will not be full of all it’s own problems either.

Not “needed” and I’m going to call BS that you can’t sleep in it.

No, my position is one cannot claim new cars are safer without knowing the age of the vehicles involved in traffic deaths.

Neither one shows stats as to the age of the vehicles people were killed in, nor total crashes either.

They were terrible on the older ones, never had to do it on a newer one though.

Still cheaper to fix the car you have then buy a different used car which will still need repairs....

Wasn’t ready for the 8 hr teardown to do a simple heater core?

Likely not enough to make a difference.....

Sadly, that logic never sets in for most people.

I love how your graph cuts out 2016 and 2017 where traffic deaths actually started climbing again.....

Huh, seems like $10k would easily fix the BMW+buy snow tires/chains and still leave a lot of money left over.......

I have to brake, get right on their butt until they MOVE OVER.

3rd and 4th gens really did have a lot of wiring/electronic issues.
