My 92 Custom Cruiser sits in my friend’s yard. He bought it from me, then proceeded to let his daughter drive it for a few months. In those few months, she managed to blow the engine and smoke the trans. He had the trans built by a local shop and got the engine rebuilt. He then lost interest as he got back into…
it’s typically beat to Hell and running poorly.
Because they’re not thirsty like you think?
1. Subaru interiors are worse than most GM interiors of the 90s. These cars are leagues above a Subaru interior in every way.
Because they’re cheap crap cans?
Counterpoint:
A true Jalop is in the garage swapping it to a stick, not on here calling it a shame........
CUVs are car or unibody based vehicles.
We had a 79 Dodge Magnum with the 360 lean-burn. Considering it was a 4,000lb luxury coupe, I felt the performance was adequate.
Could have been a 318. The 318 is an LA engine, not a Hemi.
Honestly I feel we should get away from this small displacement madness we’ve got going and go back to decent engines in vehicles in general.
Pretty sure the 79 Cordoba had the 360 lean burn. It made 185hp and over 300ft-lbs of torque.
Makes me a weirdo with you, I’d rock that.
66 Electra 225.
When I drove 2wd trucks in the winter, throwing 800lbs in the bed was normal practice.
Truck=/=RWD car.
Honestly, it handles very well for a car it’s size. It’s tight and responsive with very little body roll. It has a tight turning radius and is easy to see out of, so parking is a breeze.
Anything over 100k isn’t worth betting on it’s reliability. 100k is about the mark everything starts needing replacement on any vehicle.
Tell that to all the Chrysler’s we’ve owned that had no issue breaking 200k without worry.
