People do it to try to hide the fact that they have a burn out low beam. That makes it even worse because they know it’s burned out, they are just to F-ing lazy to stop and get it changed.

2nd gens do not, which means 1st gens don’t either being the same basic body.

After things I’ve seen from mechanics around here, I pass on letting anyone else touch my vehicle for any purpose.

Outside of changing the plugs, I loved the car and it served me reliably for a very long time.

Testing emissions per mile should eliminate any “gaming” as the vehicle can be driven in the real world and tested in real world use.
