“Head Gaskets are regular maintenance”, “They just use oil because they’re turbo’d”, “I’d have won if I had a proper tune”.
*Fixed that for ya David.
Accusing? No.
My oldest would have been 52 this year had I kept it. Fucking 6.0PS needing injectors again!
That’s only slightly more often than any other Subaru engine.
You mean it isn’t normal behavior?
Damn it, off to CL to look for a Pontiac 6000 now.
Likely gives you the codes by flashes of the CEL like 90s Mopars do.
90s Mopars can do a key trick to display the trouble codes.
Early -late 90s Chrysler are the same, they give you the codes in flashes of the CEL instead of a display.
No, I don’t work for the tire industry.
Goodyear.......
I follow what you’re saying, I was meaning more Flat 6-turbo flat 4 in general.
Honestly, I would go for the Flat 6 over a turbo 4. I get the same power/torque over a broad rpm range, without the added issues/complexity of the turbo 4.
Minor= $15 seal from Napa that I can change myself in a couple hours or pay a shop $500 to fix it (by book time).
Problem being: Most CUVs have no more ground clearance than the average sedan, plus they usually run larger wheels with shorter sidewall tires, which leads to expensive wheel/tire repairs.
Most CUVs have little to no extra ground clearance over sedans.
Came here to say this, glad someone else beat me to it.
Apparently not for a 90s Mopar guy though.
