Nothing against him, but it's the whole 'Tim and Eric' aesthetic I can't abide. Really hope that shit dies an unmourned death in 2017.

And Saturday's birthdays…

#1 is Kirk Douglas, Spartacus himself, celebrating his 100th birthday. Nice. (The once-blacklisted writer of Spartacus, Dalton Trumbo, is #14.) #2 is Simon Helberg of "The Big Bang Theory". #4 John Malkovich is a one-of-a-kind actor. #5 Judi Dench was a marvelous M in the last few James Bond movies. #6 Felicity

Thank you. "No Dames" was the true standout scene of that movie.

And now, I want this to happen should Rudd ever actually get nominated for a serious movie.

Jason Bateman and Jennifer Aniston have been in 5 movies together (The Switch, The Break-Up, Office Christmas Party and the Horrible Bosses movies).

Deadpool and I'm dead serious.

Don't say 'and stuff'. Just say 'like magic'.

Listen to yourself: she's real because he dreamed her?

I hope they weren't triplets.

As far as TV edits working better, I still think that 'This man is some kind of farm animal. I don't know which one.' is a funnier line than 'It's true. This man has no dick.'

I was a little excited, until it seemed like this was going to be a Meet the Parents-but-edgy type of movie.

Only seen the ads for "Chamberlain Heights", but the character design alone makes my eyes want to bleed.

John McTiernan's directing debut was Nomads.

Fant4stic 2: I'm Laughin' at Clouds

#1 Karen Gillan made for a fine companion on "Doctor Who". #2 Mary Elizabeth Winstead is a delightful presence in everything from Scott Pilgrim vs. the World to 10 Cloverfield Lane to CBS's "BrainDead". (Speaking of Scott Pilgrim, Young Neil himself, Johnny Simmons, is #5.) #3 Ed Harris is a forceful Man in Black on

Paul Rudnick (who wrote Addams Family Values) did a polish on the script of this one. I would be damn surprised to learn that "Slow down! It's terrible when you stutter!" wasn't one of his lines.

Damn right…at least until it tried to make Ned/Moze a thing. FFS, guys.

Comedy Central's got a mini-marathon of it on.

I've been catching up with "The Middle" over the last few months (first-run and reruns). I couldn't help but think that Frankie telling Axl the truth about April and his just leaving was the best thing that could've happened…because it meant Axl wasn't around.
